So I guess Deadmau5 is taking to Dubstep just for the fun of it. And your not going to get any arguments from me. If you follow the Mau5 at all on facebook, the guy gets so much love and fan input(which he most likely ignores) but has been putting up the demo versions for everyone to listen. Pretty sure he snags the bass and snare from Zeppelin's "When the Levee breaks" and for a first time go at it, thinking about what could come next is crazy. And speaking of levees, I was in New Orleans for Mardi Gras weekend and that place is amazing. Granted I'd probably be living in the streets by week two.

Decided to look a bit further into one of my top artists that I enjoy spinning as well as keeping on the iPod. So it turns out that this Woman is actually a man! Now, why did I think that it was a woman? Well maybe because every single song has a gorgeous woman voice in it and the name Morgan Page could very well pass for a V or a D. No offense to any readers with the name Morgan out there... So Morgan is from LA and he has been producing electric music for quite some time now. His most recent album named Elevate included the track Longest Road which was apparently nominated for a Grammy after Deadmau5 put his paws on it. The songs combine the pop feel of powerful singers, take a little pinch of country and electric house to make it feel realll nice. So check the content below and think about purchasing his album since 13 real great tracks for $9 is sooo cheap.

Swedish Fish

Calvin Harris is super Swedish as my friend Nick@Nite put recently. I can dig that though. Calvin's vocals are really soft hitting but the synth trance melodies that have starry eyed intermissions accompany the vocals oh so very well. One of my top 5 songs to drop currently is a remix of Calvin's I'm Not Alone. I can't see many people disliking Calvin so i'm throwing a bunch of tracks at you, eat them up my friends. Don't forget to put a napkin on your lap and in your pants. Basically Calvin likes to mesmorize you and then drop hotness on your face.

Yesterday Kid Cudi released an old track created a few years ago but never hit the waves for some reason. It's a Bob Dylan sample which Cudi uses to explain the highs and lows he has experienced during his life. Break ups, money situs, rims, weed, the legal system, loneliness and everything a man needs in his life to be called... well, a Man. Super feel good track, roll it up and light it if you'd like. Taking over the interweb

So recently I came across this band is from Cape Town, South Africa by the name of Die Antwoord (really recommend checking their site out, some class A shit) and they are pretty much out of their minds. The group is composed of three individuals, who have been friends for all of their lives. The Dj, has access to a Pc computer and I think that's the source of their beats, the guy and the girl are nasty dirty, not with each other though, thank god. Now, the really scary lookin little person that certainly has a deformity or two is up to you guys to figure out because I have no idea what's going on there. But their craziness has resulted in something special? The accents are nothing but difficult to understand but I may just not have the right ears for it. I've included three videos of them below if you can't get enough of them. A bit of a warning on the "Enter the Ninja" video, it's pretty f*@$ed up.

This song's been all over the net recently but that isn't gonna stop me from putting this up here. Stephen Marley and Mos Def link up for what is of course a great listen. Not sure if there is a video for this but you can bet this song warrants a classic Marley video; black and white montage of Mos and Stephen walking throughout the streets of Jamaica.
