Party Track

As the Thanksgiving week closes up and you're spending the last two or three days at home or visiting family I hope you get a chance to party it up if you haven't already done so. To help lubricate your party situation a bit let me throw a few tracks at you...
The first is a fire mashup over from White Folks Get Crunk and gets people bobbin their heads and shakin their asses before you can say I'M THIRSTY!!!
The second might is by my favorite band at the time called the Classixx and it sets a very good theme for any night because I'm not sure if they're saying get started or retarded. It might be both, either way they are both fully acceptable. Hope you enjoy the rest of your break and that you are eating left overs at like 4 AM because you're drunk off your ass.

Wiz Khalifa, Umek & Beltek, Usher - The Army of Yeah - The White Panda

After 72 years the AMA has now recognized marijuana as having beneficial medical value. It's about god damn time, whether it's all mental or it does actually serve a purpose in treating patients it helps people and that's enough in my opinion to do something positive with it. I also recently read that in portland the very first cannabis cafe opened up allowing authorized users to enjoy their cannabis in privacy and a relaxed atmosphere outside of their home. Big steps are happening guys! Living in VA I don't think any of these amendments will be coming soon but I'm sure one day every state will have some kind of leniency towards weed.

I'm not too big into sports of any kind but I can honestly say the I appreciate the athleticism that these men and women display. Watching highlights gives me a boner forreal. The video below is a mini commentary about Dock Ellis, pitcher, who pitched a game, by accident, on LSD and did amazing during the game. It's pretty ridiculous if you ask me but I love it.

1, 2....break it down

It's been a long haitus, but damnnn school has been kicking my ass. Here's a couple of joints I've come across over the last weeks/months. First off, Miike Snow takes a shot at Vampire Weekend's Kids don't stand a chance, which I found to be very enjoyable. The progression of this song is badasssss, once the tempo kicks up this becomes even more ridiculous.

Second up, John Roman gets it in with his take on the ever-remixed "Heads will Roll". Personally got to say this is my favorite, over A-trak, over anything I've heard

Travis Remixes Forever

Most will admit that Travis Barker is a force to be reckoned with. Blink 182 created classics that I'll still happily throw on and have any number of people starting singing along to it. Blink's back on top of shit making a new record coming off a recent tour, he's also working on a solo album, surviving almost lethal airplane crashes and on top of that he's a Dad. Gotta hand it to him mang. Travis takes care to not drown out the instrumentals of the original songs he works on like so many drummers do while playing for their own bands.

MTV interview:
"This song gets played so much — whether it be on TV or on the radio or XM — and I think songs like this that you can't escape, you start to get ideas in your head about how you'd want to flip it," Barker said. "And this song is awesome; every verse is crazy. Who could ask for a better lineup as far as rappers? And everyone's going in on their verse. So I was excited about it, I didn't have to think twice about getting on it." -Travis

He def. got on it...
