Luda loves lumps

Love this How Low remix by The Filth!!! It has such tantalizing Count Draculaesque synths that will make any girl want to touch the nastiest dance floor the second this heavy bass vibrates their cheeks. I imagine Luda as the man who delivers milk early in the morning to your front doorstep, he's the man.

Rusko & updates

Whatsup everyone? almost gave up there but with the summer coming up I will be up on this much more! So got back from Coachella about a week ago and of course it was nothing other than amazing. With the lineup that it had how could it be anything than epic??? Wanted to throw a new Rusko track at you guys featuring Amber Coffman from the Dirty Projectors which I saw for the first time last year at Bonaroo, they were at coachelli but I didn't have a chance to see them perform. Rusko is stepping into new grounds with this track trying to get a more mass appeal but sticking to his roots of Dubstep, Amber has some amazing vocals and they bring a nice touch to Rusko's rumble. O.M.G.! is Rusko's album in the works which is set to release May 4th on the Mad Decent record label, so look for that drop.
I'll certainly have a coachella write up in the next day for everyone!

Couldn't get an mp3 of the new track so you'll have to stream it until the album drops early May!

Bud errr i mean Dub

Went to Colorado this past spring break and guess how many dispensaries they have just in Boulder alone?! ~150 or so!! Yea it's outta handle.
NEWAY - thought I'd take a break from studying and post some heavy dubstep tracks as well as some other favorites.

If you're into the Dubstep then you have probably heard of Rusko by now, no not the municipality in Finland but the "human bass tornado" leading the pack of dubstep producers with some of the highest energy and most danceable (as danceable as dubstep gets) dubstep out there. He recently released a remix of California Love and I'm digging it! He's also remixed Amanda Blank's "Might Like You Better" and it's heavy, believe me. I just came back from changing my underpants.
I'm also so stoked about this remix of Toxic, yea I said toxic, by Brittney. One of the most heavily remixed songs of our time. STATEMENT, don't argue. Anyways, I'm pretty sure that 16Bit made Brittney shit her self when he released this song. Don't even bother listening to it unless you have a sub hooked up. you'll understand once you hear it.
The last tasty treat that I have for you guys is a track by the Beach Boys. I didn't know this but the Beach Boys were f'in crazy! They did lots of drugs and stuck board wax in places it doesn't normally go haha jk. But my friend Mark B sent this to me and I've been addicted to the style and mix this song goes through. Stanton Warriors from London took Good Vibrations and made them vibrate hella hard. Beach boy creme vibe that just drops so incredible hard to a grind-fest not meant for the young or the elderly.

Wanted to put this flier up on YSS for everyone to get excited about! My friend Mike Nugent who has done some amazing work for me with flier design in the past delivered once again with this bangin' flier for the "DIRT DISCO" that is happening April 3rd at Awful Arthurs. Benny Blanco, Neon Hitch, Nick@Nite and yours trully, Dj Lova will all be performing and getting shit sweaty.
It will be an awesome night of erotic dancing, pheromones, and raised heart rates.

The Dark Knight (parody)

Recently got back from Boulder, Colorado where I had 5 days of non stop fun and excitement. Granted that I passed out by midnight the first two nights and had lots of people sit on my face while I was passed out just means that I partied to my fullest. I realized that even though the dj scene out there is so much more developed than in SouthVA Blacksburg people are basically not too far ahead of the general consensus of what good/popular music is. aka it's basically top 40 shit out there and uness an electric song has lyrics that sillys can sing to they won't be listening to it. Point of my story is that everyone out there that is already into the electric scene keep spoon feeding your friends and soon enough they'll thank you/admire you for telling them about things you love! Well, that's that and now I have this for you!

Probably one of the funniest videos i've seen in a while...
Thanks to Anthony Cronin who showed it to me, also thanks for telling me about tunnel baby and thanks to deadmog5, jens and cando for showing me an awesome time out in CO. Much Love to all of them

Bootyful

I realize that the posting on Special Sauce is as sporadic as snow falls in all 50 states (happened this year) but just check back whenever you can and you'll be sure to find some tight shit. We're all busy you know!? Anyways, i'm sure you're familiar with Sebastien Tellier by now if you've been following this blog for some time. Just came across a video that Record Makers created for their 10th anniversary which takes the song Look by Sebastien and they've created something (apply borat accent) Vvveryy Niiiiice! (remove Borat accent) to go along to the music. Check it out below and follow those cheeks like McLovin.

Dubmau5

So I guess Deadmau5 is taking to Dubstep just for the fun of it. And your not going to get any arguments from me. If you follow the Mau5 at all on facebook, the guy gets so much love and fan input(which he most likely ignores) but has been putting up the demo versions for everyone to listen. Pretty sure he snags the bass and snare from Zeppelin's "When the Levee breaks" and for a first time go at it, thinking about what could come next is crazy. And speaking of levees, I was in New Orleans for Mardi Gras weekend and that place is amazing. Granted I'd probably be living in the streets by week two.
